Unbelievable: Woman Arrested After Authorities Find Dozens of Dead Horses!

In a deeply upsetting case, authorities in San Joaquin County, California, have arrested a woman after 27 dead horses were discovered across several of her properties. Jan Johnson, a resident of Clements, is now facing serious charges after investigators uncovered the horrifying scene. Alongside the dead horses, many surviving animals were found severely neglected, with little to no access to food or water.

16 Horses Rescued, but More Lives Lost

Animal Services, working with the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, managed to rescue 16 horses from the properties. These animals are now under the care of Oakdale Equine Rescue, where they are receiving much-needed medical attention and nourishment. Sadly, four additional horses and a bull were in such dire condition that they had to be euthanized.
