Two shoppers were fatally shot, and the suspect was killed after exchanging gunfire with police outside the supermarket. The shooting started around 5:30 p.m. when a 911 call alerted police about an active shooter. When officers arrived, they found two people already dead inside the store. Outside, the suspect engaged in a shootout with police, resulting in the suspect’s death and injuries to the officers. One officer has since been released from the hospital, while the other continues to recover.
