Emergency crews were waiting at the airport when the flight returned. Those with serious injuries were immediately treated and later taken to a local hospital in Lagos for further care.

What Caused the Chaos?

Although turbulence is frequently held responsible for mid-air disruptions, United Airlines has claimed that a “unexpected aircraft movement,” not turbulence, was the cause of this occurrence. To find out exactly what went wrong, the airline is currently collaborating with aviation authorities in the United States and Nigeria.
