San Diego is in for a gorgeous start to the week, with plenty of sunshine and rising temperatures. Monday and Tuesday will be mild and pleasant, with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. By midweek, things heat up, with Wednesday reaching 81°F and Thursday peaking at 83°F—some of the warmest temps we’ve seen this season.
But don’t get too comfortable—changes are coming by Friday. A weak system is expected to roll in, bringing cooler weather and a slight chance of showers. Temperatures will drop back to the upper 60s, and we may see some light rain heading into the weekend.
What to Expect This Week:
- Monday – Tuesday: Sunny, highs around 69-71°F, cool nights in the upper 40s.
- Wednesday – Thursday: Warmest days of the week, highs in the low 80s.
- Friday: Cooler with a chance of light showers, high around 69°F.
- Weekend: Partly sunny, highs in the mid-60s.
If you love the warm weather, take advantage of it early in the week! By Friday, you might need a light jacket and an umbrella.
