Florida Principal Arrested After Hosting Wild Teen Party

A Florida elementary school principal is facing serious charges after hosting what police described as a wild house party with over 100 teenagers. Officers were called to a Cocoa Beach home on January 19, 2025, after reports of loud music, drinking, and a large gathering. When they arrived, they found teens openly drinking alcohol from coolers provided at the scene. One teenager was so intoxicated that they were found passed out on the front lawn and had to be treated by paramedics.

Who’s Involved?

The homeowner was identified as 47-year-old Elizabeth Hill-Brodigan, principal of Roosevelt Elementary School. Police also arrested 45-year-old Karly Anderson, a third-grade teacher at the same school, who was reportedly present at the party. Both women now face charges, including child neglect, contributing to the delinquency of minors, and holding an open house party.

School District Speaks Out

Brevard Public Schools wasted no time responding to the incident. Both Hill-Brodigan and Anderson have been placed on administrative leave while the investigation continues. Superintendent Dr. Mark Rendell called the situation “deeply concerning,” stating, “We hold our leaders to the highest standards. If these allegations are true, it’s a massive breach of trust.”

The Community Reacts

The revelation startled the people of Cocoa Beach. According to Mayor Keith Capizzi, the state of affairs is “disappointing” and does not speak highly of the city. Understandably agitated, parents are calling on the local government and school administration to provide answers and take action.

What’s Next?

Both Hill-Brodigan and Anderson were released on bond after their arrests, but the legal process is just beginning. Police are still investigating the event and are asking anyone with more information to come forward.
