DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA – One of South Florida’s largest and fastest growing hospitality operators, BurgerFi, has opened the doors to its 51st Florida location today, Friday, June 12th in east Delray Beach.

“Delray Beach has welcomed BurgerFi since the opening of our first restaurant on Ocean Boulevard back in 2011,” said Charlie Guzzetta, Delray Beach resident and Chief Brand Development Officer for BurgerFi.

“While we’ve continued to expand our footprint across the country, Delray remains amongst our top performing Stock markets thanks to the incredible local community members who love our delicious burgers and care about our commitment to quality ingredients.”

To celebrate the opening, the ‘better burger’ chain will also donate 10,000 of its award-winning hamburgers to local nonprofit kitchen, Feeding South Florida, benefitting those less fortunate in the surrounding community.

This new South Florida location will also serve as the brand’s newest prototype – new interiors that are environmentally friendly with chairs made from recycled coke bottles and bars and tables made from compressed woods.

The public is invited to partake in Friday’s safely socially-distanced opening, getting their hands on $5 Cheeseburgers and VegeFi’s as well as having a chance to win free meals for an entire year.

Guzzetta added, “This is our third restaurant in Delray Beach and our 51st in Florida, so it’s really fun to see our loyal guests visit us at our new location.”

“The most exciting part for us, however, is reaching and winning over new guests who aren’t as familiar with the brand,” he said. “Our food speaks for itself and it’s usually love at first bite!”

BurgerFi is headquartered in Palm Beach County they are one of South Florida’s largest and fastest growing hospitality employers despite the pandemic, with 3,000 employees and growing.

Serving 100 percent natural Angus beef burgers, BurgerFi is also recognized as the first national chain to introduce vegetarian VegeFi patties, along with Beyond Meat burgers, fresh-cut fries and creamy custards.
