The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) of Delray Beach has taken over the management of Old School Square from the city of Delray Beach. As part of their new management, the DDA has opened an immersive art exhibit at the Cornell Art Museum. The exhibit titled, “The World of Water” showcases 20 South Florida artists, featuring all types of mediums. The exhibit is free and open to the public until Sunday, June 25.

Curated by the DDA’s Cultural Arts Director, Marusca Gatto in collaboration with Debby Coles-Dobay of Art Moves PB, “The World of Water” exhibition is a beautiful interpretation of mankind’s connection to water. The exhibition explores the environment, conservation, and sustainability in an artistic way.
Art Exhibited
“The World of Water” showcases a variety of art pieces from Stuart to Miami, including a giant manatee sculpture, hanging from the ceiling and made from debris found on beaches, paintings that rotate on the wall, a glass octopus, jellyfish pieces, and more. The art exhibition showcases different types of mediums, including paintings, sculptures, and more.
