DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA – Ceasar’s Famous Ribs is set to open their new physical location in Delray Beach soon, after their final inspections happened last week. They have been offering weekend drive up service on their new grounds at 37 Southwest 5th Avenue, and plan to open the new storefront in just a couple of weeks.

The revered, local family-owned eatery run by Bill and Pauline Ceasar has been cooking in Delray for 25 years, rising steadily to meet the public’s demand. Bill’s passion for cooking began at a young age as he watched his grandmothers cook, witnessing the passion and love they put into each meal and the joy they received from it.

In 1994, he decided to open Ceasar’s Catering and became busy catering weddings, dinner parties, BBQs, private parties, birthday parties, business luncheons, and other events. After much success, he opened Ceasar’s Famous Ribs in 2010 and operated out of his home and church, Restoration House Empowerment Ministries International (RHEMI) in Boynton Beach.

Two years later, he was invited to WIRK’s 107.9 Annual Rib Round Up where he won best ribs and best sauce, catapulting his business into the BBQ spotlight. Since then, Ceasar’s has cooked for City & Government officials, NFL Teams, NFL Players, College Bowl Games, Festivals, Celebrities and more. Caesars was also one of the official Vendors for Super Bowl 2020.

To help expand, they reached out to the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), through the Site Development Assistance Program, and received the support they needed to take their business to the next level.

“The CRA has helped our goals come true by providing guidance and money,” Bill Ceasar said in October. “I would like to thank the CRA for working with us from day one with this project, [including] past and present members.”

Ceasar added, “Thanks to Mr. James T. and his wife for believing in us and working with us. Thanks to all of our customers. Thanks to the City of Delray.”

CRA executive director, Renée Jadusingh, shared, “I believe I can speak for myself and everyone at the CRA, and in the community that the opening is highly anticipated! It’s wonderful to work with a business from the beginning of their journey to growing their business into a storefront location.”

Including Ceaser’s Ribs, there are five businesses currently in process of receiving Site Development Assistance (SDA), and one business who has submitted an application and will be voted on.

In May 2020 the CRA Board voted to approve an increase in available dollars for the CRA’s economic development funding assistance programs, which includes Site Development Assistance.

Now just weeks away, the grand opening of the new Ceasar’s Restaurant will take place at 37 SW 5th Avenue. Until then follow their social media, and all Saturday and Sunday walk-ups and drive through are welcome all day each day.

Pre-orders must be called in no later than Friday by 2PM for Saturday and Sunday pick up. Call to pre-order at: (561) 577-7561 or (561)-870-5068.
