DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA – It has been written that bread took its place on the table as early as the Neolithic, some 10,000 years ago, however the art of baking was developed during the early Roman Empire. Today baked goods are a cornerstone of the Western diet, and although globally ubiquitous, the bakeries in Delray Beach are worth celebrating.
From breads to desserts, pastries to danishes, it is no surprise that Delray Beach offers some great options for amazing local bakeries. Following are some of our favorites to visit when the carb-party starts or the sweet tooth strikes.
Two Fat Cookies – 32 SE 2nd Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33444
