Unleashing Unmatched Power: Introducing The First Phone With 24gb Ram And Overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

The nubia REDMAGIC gaming phones have powerful hardware and great heat management. The REDMAGIC 8S Pro, introduced recently, may be the year’s best smartphone.

Last week, the company said that the new phone uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version, the same processor as in the Galaxy S23 series. That’s an increase from the regular chip’s 3.2GHz CPU clock speed and 680MHz GPU speed to a maximum of 3.36GHz for both components.

The phone also has a cooling system dubbed ICE 12.0, which uses techniques such as 3D vapor chamber cooling and a graphene heat sink to keep things cool. The integrated fan, however, is the most remarkable feature.

We have seen that the cooling fan on the REDMAGIC 8 Pro allows for great sustained performance, so we anticipate the same here.

In addition to the enormous improvement in processing power, nubia also offers a Pro Plus model with as much as 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Having 1 terabyte of storage space is useful if you want to save a lot of games and/or movies on your phone, but the amount of RAM is excessive for gaming and most other demanding jobs.

The smartphone has a triple camera setup at the back. Although only its 50MP GN5 primary camera was announced, we can assume that it also has an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro/depth lens.

What is the Price of this Phone?

The new gaming phone’s entry-level 8GB/128GB model costs 3,999 yuan ($552) in China. The most expensive REDMAGIC 8S Pro Plus comes with 24GB/1TB of storage for a price of 7,499 yuan ($1,036).

The Transformers Bumblebee edition REDMAGIC 8S Pro Plus (shown above) is also available from Nubia, and it comes with a charger and a cooling fan that match the design of the robot. This model has a price tag of 6,499 yuan ($897) and comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space.
