A powerful atmospheric river continues to flood Northern and Central California, delivering heavy rain and strong gusts, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Flood Watch for the Bay Area until 10 p.m. Sunday, warning of rising stream levels and potential flash flooding.
As of Saturday afternoon, rainfall rates in Sonoma and Marin counties ranged from 0.25 to 0.5 inches per hour, with total accumulations of 0.5 to 2 inches in the North Bay. Meanwhile, gusts of up to 55 mph near the coast have generated concerns of downed trees and power outages.
The storm will diminish slightly on Sunday, but another round of heavy rain is forecast for Monday and Tuesday, raising flood dangers over the Bay Area and Central Coast.
