The climb takes you through thick canopy, past fern-covered ground, and out onto an open ridge where the Delaware River appears far below — surrounded by miles of unbroken forest.

The Dunnfield Creek Natural Area is another highlight — a hemlock ravine with rushing water and rocky terrain that stays cool even on the hottest summer days.
